Rise Of Nations Crashing When I Load A Saved Game...

I was playing the game earlier and it worked, but I wasn't playing my saved game at the time. I updated the game since the last time I played the one I saved, could that be the problem? I know some games don't let you load saved games that were from the time before you updated, but I haven't found any documentation saying Rise Of Nations has that problem.

I never had a problem loading saved games after patching RoN. I'm not sure what the problem could be other then file corruption.

Now it is doing it with a newer game. I can select the "Continue Campaign" option, but if I manually choose the one I want and hit the load button, it quits out of the game.

Now my computer sometimes doesn't even acknowledge that the disc is in the drive. I wonder if it is defective or something. :disgust:
