I didn't say I couldn't connect to the actual site they're hosting, but I can't connect to the cPanel, nor the Ripplehost website.

Only AddAction, HTTPme, clook and Idologic are "RossMAN endorsed".

I have suggested RippleHost for people who want dirt cheap web hosting, plain and simple.

Like I've said 10000 times before "you get what you pay for".

Some other cheap web hosting suggestions are:
SolidInternet.com
HostPC.com (currently using --- love DirectAdmin control panel)
e-rice.net - popular choice but not as cheap as RippleHost is

I've been with ripplehost for an year now and my site was never down. I paid $5 for one year of hosting and it surely is worth a lot more than that.

You paid $10 for a whole year. It went down. If you thought $10 was enough for a mission critical site, you are nuts.

I never said I expected it to be 100% reliable, I was just inquiring if other dudes were having the same trouble administering my account as I was.

I was actually thinking of a account to use for email incase my server goes down.... this just changed my mind :(

I believe RippleHost is generally good for everything EXCEPT e-mail (anyway).

Its ok... I got 3 servers I just don't know which to trust with my business email :Q

my email has been down for a week. i have to keep switching outgoing servers... incoming is fine... outgoing has been dead this week.

I'm on server2 and everything with my domain/site is working: cpanel, email, smtp. I haven't noticed anything down within the past week, too.

The ripplehost forums is another story (no DNS resolution).

Site works.
But cpanel and ftp still seem to be down.
Rather than being "down" - it is rejecting my login as incorrect.
