OK, I posted this in GH, but the mod with nothing better to do locked it immediately as off topic. Jeesh, of all the crap posted in GH, I get singled out. I digress.

I am a bit new to ripping DVD's and have checked out the doom9 site and tried a few programs. They seem to rip video, but audio seems to be another process.

Is there an all-in-one ripper out there? Now that I have a rig with decent power, I would like to start some DIVX ripping/encoding. All comments extremely welcome. Hopefully this is the right forum.

Thanks,

LJ

Use SmartRipper. It can be found at doom9. It's the easiest to use. Just use movie mode and hit start.

dvddecrypter is out there as well.

D/L the gknot package and smartripper will be built in.
