Okay, I have my own dvd player and some DVD's. Think is Id like to rip them to VCD or Divx so that I can watch them on my computer without carrying the disks around.

Before I heard that you had to first decode the audio then video. But isn't there a more easy now? I was think about getting a ATI Wonder VE card, But that wont do VCD with the menus. Also.. If I get a DVD drive is there a easy way to do that or no?

Please tell me the different ways I can rip dvd's and what's the best way. Thanks

www.vcdhelp.com has a few ways.

But I'm lazy and am looking more for the one application way. so I just pop in a DVD, hit "go" and it does its thing. "or the fastest closest to this"
