I run Windows 2000, and I have a Toshiba 5x DVD drive, and I have always been able to rip digital audio in MusicMatch Jukebox 5.0 just fine. I haven't done any CD's for a while, and now I tried one again, and I cannot get it to work Digitally, it just says digital failed, switching to analong, and analog doesn't do to good....
The only thing I have done to my system is add a new sound card. I got a Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1
Also, I was able to connect the DVD drive with a digital cable to the sound card, but that digital cable seems to only be audio playback. Before when it worked, I didn't have it hooked up with anything to my sound card. Unpluggint the digital cable didn't do anything.
I found a setting in windows 2000 hardware properties called enable digital playback. It wasn't checked, and when I check it, my system freezes. Only time windows 2000 has ever frozen for me.

Any ideas??
Thanks
