i took the LCD off a 486 laptop and want to install it in my car with the computer im gonna put it in. I want to know where can i find information on the wires for the LCD, so i can connect it to a regular VGA port and power. The laptop is a Toshiba T4500.

It might, you're just in for a whole lot of work and research. Got to overclockers.com's forums and look in their mod section. There is a sticky there that will get you going in the right direction...

If you get any good info, PM me about it; I'd be interested in it.

You will probably need a controller for it, which you can probably find at Earth LCD, which will probably run you somewhere along the lines of $200+.

Alternatively, you could get a nice 7" widescreen VGA TFT display with touchscreen from somewhere like DigitalWW or DSCustoms 🙂
