My friend Keith Taft passed this morning from a heart attack at home. Met him at church about 10+ years ago and he was one of those friendly people who would accept you for who you are. I didn't even realize that he was a celebrity in the casino world until recently when I saw him on the Discovery channel.
My aunt's family founded and still operates a snack company. I remember her taking my brothers and I on trips around the Bay Area when my parents were busy working. She'd also tutor us in chinese and math when we were little. I'm glad that we got to see her a couple months ago before she took a turn for the worse w/ cancer.
