I read an article about him a few days ago, about how he was still in denial about dying of AIDS. Very sad.

Just googled around for some of these stories. He not only was in denial about having the disease, he claimed the disease didn't even exist and was nothing more than something made up by the media. D:

Now I'm not sure if he actually believed that, or if he was saying whatever he could to try and get back into boxing.
 
How fucked up can that be. Maybe false positives, maybe false negatives. Eventually latching onto the HIV negative test results so I assume he refused treatment.
 
Wonder if he was on the medications or was it the cocktail?
I kinda agree about the government conspiracy thing.
Too much of a perfect storm.
 
I wonder what is more sad, dying of aids or dying of denying one has hiv and then aids and as a result, failing to get the proper treatment. Either case, it's hellahard to become a world champion and albeit briefly, this dude rocked it out like most others could only dream of.
