She was an amazing and kind woman the two times I met her. You could tell that Stan thought the world of her. I don't think we'd be arguing about Marvel anything without her being behind the scenes of it. My heart goes out to Stan, I can't imagine what he's going through.

Yeah I read the story this morning..very sad news. I watched a documentary about Stan and his wife played a huge part in his life and the marvel universe.

I'm always torn on this. While I love Stan and want him to be around for a long time, I don't want him to be miserable for it. While I've talked quite a few times with the man, I don't pretend to know what he's going through, both with this and other stuff in his life. If the choice was for him to be around but to be in a personal hell, I'd rather him move on to whatever is next. There is a huge out pour of love and support from the comic people on this, so I hope that gives him some small comfort.
