Died at the Gretxky family home in Brantford ON from cancer. She was Wayne's mom. Condolonces to the family.

last year a bunch of us met Walt Gretzky at the Ice Park in Brantford. What a great guy - he is always hanging out there, every year we go. he will shoot the breeze with anyone, just a really cool dude.

He stood outside our dressing room chatting with us before we took the ice. He was joking around about his wife always shopping... "My wife could find a mall in the Sahara desert." stuff like that.
