Gutted, man. Growing up, Grease was played on loop in our house. Granted, probably not a suitable film for 5-10 year olds lol, but watching it on my parents' couch is a core memory for me. Hell, I think ONJ may have been my first celebrity crush.

Olivia Newton-John is one of the most skilled singers to grace the planet. I only became consciously aware about her approximately three years ago.

Her vocals include exception agility and fluidity.

May- June 2019, I guess I was going through a compilation of #1 Hot 100 hits and she was one of the ones that piqued my interest. Recovering from a laceration...there wasn't much else to do.

And headcanon tells me the Landslide music video inspired a couple things related to Aladdin the Disney movie.

The rare live performance that isn't lipped. Landslide is taxing and thus she avoided performing it plus the marriage ended as well.

Magic is deceptively in its opening and her voice makes the song much better.

In the mid 70s my older brother (8 years older than me) brought home this album. I remember this picture vividly. I believe it was my first crush, though at the time I had no idea why I was captivated by her... I was 7 or 8 years old.
Getting old sucks. The people who filled the memories of my childhood are dying faster than I can count now.
