RIP my old M3

Looks like the previous owner did his own maintenance and screwed up the brakes 😉

The only car I've ever cared to know what happened to was my '91 Eclipse. I kept it until ~2003 then traded it to a contractor friend of ours for some work. I saw him recently and he said he kept it until a couple of years ago when he sold it to a high school kid who was very excited to have it. I'm sure it's trashed by now.

Seems like the driver lost control in the rain and ran into a guardrail.

I'm curious how you even noticed that in the first place. Are you looking to pick up a salvage vehicle? or did you decide to take a look at your past and plugged in the VIN?

I just put the vin in the google, I happen to have a copy of the carfax report in my email

Thats from the winter still(slush on the floor), still on the summer tires by the looks of it too. Lucky he made it that long!

Wow that's a very astute observation - the car is still has 245 and 275 Direzza Star Specs on SSR Comps... essentially death wish under 40 degrees.

I live in Canada, 20% of our idiots driving here do the exact same thing. God bless government insurance to spread the cost and force everyone to pay for those morons. 😛

That's why I don't drive the Cobra on 315 drag radials on any day with a chance to rain.

Been in enough scary situations to understand that it has nothing to do with skill level, experience, caution, awareness, capability of the vehicle, etc.
Nature can and will always find a way to fuck you and there is nothing you can do about it.

There are simply times when the reasonable and prudent speed is 0 mph.

Good lord.. I just spent like an hour looking for 1971-1972 240Zs on that salvage site. Thanks for ruining my day! 😛
