Loretta Swit, best known as ‘Hot Lips’ on M*A*S*H, has passed away at the age of 87.

I remember hearing my parents talk daily about how this person or that person from their era had died. (I was born late, by father was a 40 year old WWII vet when I was born.)

Now it's been happening to me. This last decade I've watched many people I grew up seeing on TV or listening to on the radio pass away.

Fuck I'm old.

Have some rock stars, and actors in my thoughts as they are touchstones to the culture I have grown up in. Some big ones will be coming up in the next few years. And, you figure the people you never hear anything about are somewhere in a nursing home.

When we came home from school in the 80's we always watched Tom & Jerry, Three's Company and MASH. It's no wonder I'm a huge fan of comedy. She will be missed.
