RIP -- Herbie the Hippopotamus!

Herbie was the best Hippo I ever had!! Herbie was one of a kind!! Herbie just Loved children and was very protective of the children! Herbie tipped the scale at over 3,000 lbs! Yet he was humble and lovable! Herbie Loved to run off the diving board in our pool! What a splash Herbie made!! Almost every time Herbie would jump into the pool we had to refill the pool!! Herbie was very protective of our pet cricket who just passed!! It is truly a sad day for the free world! RIP Herbie!!

I'm sorry for your loss. He sounds like a swell little fellow. Now I'm sure whenever you see other Hippos do their defecating tail spin you'll be overcome with sadness as you remember back to the fond times with Herbie.
