RIP Grandma :(

Not a very good day for the family. Now have no grandparents (mother's died when she was 12, my dad's father died a year and a half ago).

It was weird, just one week ago we were celebrating my birthday. She was happy, sitting there eating cake:

I think the thing that did it was that her kidney failed, thereby lowering her sodium level, which in turn basically took her down a bad path. 🙁 Death sucks.

I have regrets in that I didn't treasure or value the time I had with her - just went out with friends while she was in town, etc. I feel like sh!t.

🙁 Sorry for your loss.

🙁

I've lost all of my Grandparents since 1999. Its hard. Try not to think about the bad stuff, just remember what you did for her, and the time you spent with her.

Best of luck to you and your family.

R.I.P.

Sorry to hear you're feeling badly over this. And quite beating yourself up over the time you didn't spend with her.
May I suggest you think instead of the good times, like her eating cake with you, and that you start living each day as if it may be your last. No regrets, no apologies, no cleaning up, no unturned stones, so to speak, left to do.
