You've been a good printer, I've had you for 7 years now, but it's time to move on. You just can't handle my printing needs, and, well, I've found someone else.

I've decided to try out a laser printer, a Samsung ML-2010. It's just under $80 after rebate from Newegg, so I'll see how it works.

RIP. :( But look for a brighter future. :)

We had one, just retired it about 3 months ago... Worked perfectly if you cleaned the spinning things that picked up the pieces of paper.

Good luck.

My HP 660Cse will be 10 years old next month. It's like an old friend.

They're durable printers, definitely! This guy probably has another three or four years left in him, minimum, but I need something that can handle larger print jobs.

I'm on my third Epson Inkjet; currently using a CX6400 All in one. It's superb.

The thing about the Epson Inkjets is that if you don't print off a color page or two at least once a week, the ink nozzles clog up and no amount of head cleaning will fix it.

My last Epson ink jet clogged up b/c I hadn't used it in about a month. Luckily, it was JUST under the warranty...literally, two days left on it. :D

They stopped my making the model I had (not as good as what I have now) so after much bitching on my part, they upgraded me to the 6400. :D

I print a few test pages per week, no matter what.

Good luck w/your new printer.

That's why I've never bothered with epson... why they don't include the ink nozzle on the cartridge is beyond me.

I'm sure it's cheaper, but having to print out test pages with color on them every week must really make the ink run out.
