Well a few days ago I saw some artifacts while exiting madden 05 and hoped it was just a graphics glitch. Just now after a reboot my entire screen went haywire and it won't even send out a signal anymore =(

Was never oc'd. Glad bfg has a good warranty.

What graphics glitch looked like? I frequently have artifacts while loading or exiting games on my 9800 pro..but I just dismiss it as some weird thing that happens cos the card is loading or unloading stuff and nothing serious to worry about..

There were lines and 0-1's all over the place, and the card puts out no signal anymore. I am Pretty sure it died, sadly.

You know what, i almost think BFG has to have that lifetime warranty. I bought "2" of their 5900NU cards way back, 1 from newegg and 1 from GameVE.....Guess what, they were both bad! (Severe artifacting, even in the Bios! on both of my computers)

After i returned the first one i decided i'd just call BFG on the second and have them send me another.....After a pretty pitiful sounding guy checked what he could do for me, he told me that i should just return it to where i bought it (GameVE). I asked him if there was anyway they could just exchange it for me since GameVe would take forever to do the RMA. He said sorry but the best they could do was to "repair" it for me which after my asking was going to take about 2-3weeks!

Long story short, I sent it back to GameVE and asked to have an MSI 5900 shipped instead even though it was more money. Got that one, and have been happy ever since!

I know a lot of people talk highly of BFG and their warranty, but i guess i'd like a brand that i didn't have to 'use' the warranty quite so often. :)
