Looks like those peace loving, non racist, superior Europeans have a few problems of their own.. Funny how these open borders are killing most of Europe, many of these immigrants have no respect for European culture and manipulate the welfare systems to drive unemployment and socialist policies through the roof.. Most of my family in Paris is ready to get the hell the out, the crime and disgraceful attitude that these people show were at one time only American staples.

On another note, I'm not one who believes in a liberal media slant, but I love how CNN makes it seem like poverty is the reason why these poor thugs feel the need to destroy things

Anytime you have an "Equal Opportunities Minister" in your governement you give a voice to irrational people.

The French governement should meet force with force. These people were given the right to live in a Democratic, free society. If they don't like or rebel against the government they should be relocated back to their home countries. Same thing applies to the Mullahs in Britian that spew violent rhetoric all day without fear of retribution.

General strikes seem to be a lot easier to organize and sustain in "Welfare states".
Whether you strike or not, the government will take care of you.

Could that be one reason why some many "riots" happened in the inner cities back in the 70's-90's. That is when the government handouts to the "disadvantaged" were peaking.

No you are the sheep. You are the one always willing to take the side of the so called oppresed, when you fail to realize that they have been given the opportunity to make a life for themselves. That they live in a socialist country that will BEND OVER BACKWARDS to make their lives easier. Countries that will feed them, pay for their vacations, pay for their schooling, pay for their medical care, basically do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to help them.

Yet these poor oppressed people decide to take the cowardly way out. They decide that stealing and waiting for the next government check is the best way to go. That education and personal responsiblity is something that the dumb asses that actually work are stupid enough to do. Why work when you can freeload all day, supported by "Equal Opportunities Ministers" and other apologists? Of course these are the same people that apologize every time a Synagouge or Church is burnt down, everytime a a Christian or Jew gets harassed on the streets of Europe by these roving gangs of misunderstood crybabies.

Great answer. I see you have so much proof when discussing your superior knowledge of current affairs and international politics. I'm glad the Al Jazeera network has done such a fantastic job educating you about current affairs, like the 9/11 conspiracy that you believe in, the CIA and Mossad links to all the problems in the world and the general conspiracies by the ruling elite to force us to eat big macs so we get big and lazy. Thank you for making all of this clear to me.

Every country has their social issues, just like the USA, and I don't see why that would change anytime soon. But it is fun to speculate on France's schizophrenia regarding their ultra-sensitivity to preserving their "heritage" combined with the modern realities of their country changing. Let's face it, the French make such juicy targets sometimes.

That's what Unions are for. Because, as you wrote, corporations give you a job, you might be easily intimidated and scared to protect your rights. You know, corporations need you. They are not making a gift to anybody, they need people to get the job done. And the employee has the same rights of the employer.

No. An overwhelming percentage of them are French. Born and raised in France, carrying a French passport. That Banlieu of paris has a lot of problems, and they face an identity issue.
They are french, yet they feel people treat them in a different way. At the same time, they lost their roots, because most of them have never seen Algeria, Tunisia or Senegal.

They feel they are being discriminated because of their heritage, and if you add a sparkle (in this case killing two teenagers) a fire will soon emerge.

That's what Unions are for. Because, as you wrote, corporations give you a job, you might be easily intimidated and scared to protect your rights. You know, corporations need you. They are not making a gift to anybody, they need people to get the job done. And the employee has the same rights of the employer.

The problem with unions here in the states is that those in power pay off the union leadership, then point out the corruption, that they are just as culpable for. We need people who care more about people than money. But those people get shot coming out of hotel rooms, and photo shoots.
