Rio Nitrus MP3 player rocks

I just bought this mp3 player from Walmart for $150. It has 1.5gb of hard drive space.... plenty for working out at the gym. Great price!!

is a hard drive based mp3 player really practical for working out or any exercise? All that shock/movement is bound to cause the drive to skip.

That's the one I've been looking at getting. 1.5GB is plenty or space for me, and I mainly need it for the gym. How's the sound quality...?

The 1-inch drives aren't bad, and they usually cache ahead some.

Still, will they standup to running/sprinting sessions? I need a new MP3 player and I want room, but I need something skip-PROOF.

Seriously - the ipod is a ripoff... i laugh at people like you.

you're just mad because you can't afford one.

after playing with my brothers's 40 gig 3rd generation Ipod, although very nice, I went with the Dell DJ. I want that battery life!

i can afford one, but i'd rather save my money for other things - like my own business or a home. i'm not mad, it's just funny how people spend so much for them.

if you have to save your money for other things, then you can't afford one.

That's a stupid statement, they're not directly-competing products.
(BTW, the Karma kicks the iPod's ass 😛)
