Slot number 1 - 1GB ram
Slot number 2 - 2GB ram so all together is 3GB

is it possible or just 1GBx2 or 2GBx2?

thats definitely possible.

the rc410 ati chipset doesnt support dual channel ram anyway, so there'd be no difference. even on dual channel boards you can put uneven quantities just it would turn of the dual channel funciton.
