Amazon has a deal on the

Rio Carbon 5GB Mp3 Player

on sale for $188.94 with free shipping and no tax in most states

after a $20 Rio Rebate (exp 3/31)

This is worth it just for the 5GB Seagate CF Hard drive that can be extracted.

I'm in the market for an MP3 player. Have yet to own one. I was sorta hoping to lean more towards a flash-drive version. But I guess those top out at around 1GB? My entire MP3 collection is probably around 5GB's. So a 20GB+ player would be way overkill.

What are some things to consider when buying an MP3 player? I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to them. Though I hear about Ipods now all the time.

I'm also in the market for an MP3 player, but one with an FM radio tuner. Unfortunately this doesn't have it.

This deal would definately be hot it came with an FM tuner.

Right now amazon shows $169 after $40 in 2 - $20 rebates. The strange thing is rebates shown are identical rebates.

Battery life, weight, can it be used as mass storage device (don't need to install software), warranty..
