Rio 500 - How to switch to ext memory?

I bought my Rio 500 v.2.16 in an Ebay auction and therefore don't have a manual. How can I switch to my 128Mb ext SMC?

Open the little door at the top rear of the player and slide it in. It says "push close" on the door.

If you are asking how to play the ext card, push in on the volume wheel and it will bring up a menu. Turn the wheel to scroll the menu and select "Play All Folders" or just switch to the external folder.

So no separation between int and ext?!

Just choose folders on int or ext?!

If you select play all folders and select continous play (the 2 arrows that form a circle), it will circle through int and ext like it is one big folder.

EDIT - also, I got mine new and the documentation sucked. I had to call Diamond to ask the same question you asked. There was nothing about pushing on the wheel. I have had it for 2 years and it rocks. Have fun.

I got 2 of these puppies there do rock. Being using them for 2 years during work outs. Since there is no moving parts, music never skips. If you haven't already go get yourself some Nimh rechargeable batteries, these puppies drain batteries like there is no tomorrow.
