Ring 2 Trailer

I wonder how good the story will be this time since they are going to have to write their own story and not just do a remake.

I also want to see the grudge, looks kinda freaky. and to me, there aren't many scary movies out there. but i must admit, the one that probably freaked me out the most in the recent years was only rated pg-13, and it was What Lies Beneath." that movie really got to me heh.
 
I thought this was supposed to be coming out this summer not next spring...I was waiting for it...ughh...

Spring.....damnit! Halloween is just a couple weeks away! THAT's the best time to release these horror/suspense movies.

Funny (true) story... I went to see The Ring on a Monday afternoon, by myself. The theater was completely empty for the first 30 mins of the film. Then a guy walks in, and sits in the row behind me, about 3 seats to the left. WTF... The entire theater was empty! He left about 15 mins later, and I could put both eyes back on the movie. 😉

 
It took my wife forever to get up the courage to watch it. It wasn't until it aired on Cinemax for her to actually see it and realize it wasn't as bad as it was played up to be.

Hope they get lucky and not suffer the sequal's curse....

I would hope not, considering the third one had almost nothing to do with the others. It was more of a prequel and really messed with the mythology from what I've heard

Don't know how this movie will be, though. You can't really tell how it'll be from the trailer. I've seen the original sequel and it was... odd. I wonder how much, if anything, they'll borrow for the remake. I did like the first one and would hate to see the series suffer sequelitis

Amen, I was thinking I was the only one that was bored with the movie. I kept waiting for it to freek me out...
 
The 1st one blew, hard.

I dont see the need for a sequel.

But some idiots like Jeepers Creepers, so i could see how this steaming pile of movie could have a sequel as well.
 
I still get freaked out when the tv goes fuzzy....uuuggghh. We even rented it a while ago because my husband hadn't seen it, and I wouldn't even watch it with him. Little girls scare the crap outta me.

but i'll probably have to see the second one too. 🙂

I can't stand riced out cars. I watched The Ring with my GF b/c she was saying how scary it was b/c she had seen it before. I sat there waiting to be scared and it never happened. THe movie SUCKED
