Hey guys, normally www.samsungsemi.com would provide me with all the information I need; however my RIMM has two different part numbers on it and I need you to clarify something for me. The printed circuit board that my RIMM uses has the following part number etched into it along the left edge: MD18R1628AF0. But, the cover plate on my RIMM has a sticker with the following part number on it: MD16R1628AF0-CN9DF. Can you explain why there are two different part numbers on my RIMM? When I purchased the memory I thought I was getting a 32-bit 1066MHz RIMM, capable of 4.2GB/sec maximum bandwidth. Please let me know exactly what kind of RIMM I actually have inserted in my motherboard. Thanks so much. By the way, I'd love to know if there are any other RIMM4200 users out there who have different part numbers on their RIMM.

The circuit board's string means that you have a RIMM 4200 memory module with the following characteristics:

Organization: 64M x 32/36
I/O Frequency: 1066MHz
Row Access Time: 32ns or 35ns (depends if model number contains "-CN9" or "-CM9" after the "MD18R1628AF0" string respectively)

I would ignore the module number on the sticker as it may be a mistake.
