Get an unlisted head. It will stop the ringing forever! 😛

I've had tinnotis for almost 15 years now. I got it from a concert in 9th grade and have had it ever since. As long as there is some sort of white noise....from a fan, from the AC....from cars on the road I'm fine. But if I was put in a sound proof room I'd be in an assylum.
The only hearing loss I have is on the higher frequencies when the pitch of the noise they use to test you matches the pitch my ears ring at, I can't hear it.
There is no known cure----but some Hollywood stars have had successful surgery for it. I read a few years ago where Don Johnson had surgery for it.
The best I can tell----in my case it's a result of two things. #1---the concert...and number two.....a genetic inbalance in my inner ear. The ENT doc I went to suspected based on a "pressure test" that I have had tinnotis at a minor level since I was born, but the concert just increased the volume. Your eustacian tubes are sposed to adjust the pressure in your ear----and mine don't function properly. Don't know more....but there's no real gauranteed treatment for it. That's all I learned.

Don't worry - you'll get used to the noise and eventually won't even hear it anymore.
