To get SLI to work, at least with my gtx 460's rename the exe. to Dirt3, tried a few different tricks and this finally doubled my fps and worked correctly :)

enlarge to full screen,(to keep resolution) and hit alt/enter to get full screen.

both run well with 6850. is there a way to benchmark?

I just loaded up FRAPs and saw the frame counter in the corner. Based on the HD7970 being the recommended, I thought it would be very intensive but the card didn't even break a sweat. I was expecting 12-15 fps.

The best thing about simulating gems is that they are intersections of flat planes. I would bet this demo has a lot less polygons than other very high quality demos because gem shapes are ideal for rasterization the same way that ray tracers can rock circles.

you guys find out how to change the resolution of the demo?
I cant enable a gui to pop of a menu and I dont see a config file to edit.
in the readme txt it has some keys, but nothing that can confirm rez change.
I think it may be the letter S, but its hard to say when it becomes the native rez.

No, but I just realized the Demo is interactive.

I thought it's one of those things you just launch and let the sequence run. I left clicked the mouse and I can interact with the objects and throw them into each other, such as dropping all the rings like a domino.
