i can only get my multiplier to go down to 5 and not 4, have you had that problem?

Yes I use RightMark Memory Analyzer, which I trust more than A64 Tweaker.

They have a useful & informative forum on their website, too.

Some CPUs only go down to 5. Do you have a Venice?

i have a venus (opteron), i don't know how but i got it to go down to 4 w/ a 275fsb, so it throttles from 1.1GHz to 2.48GHz 🙂 was able to drop my idle temps down 7C since at 1.1GHz i am under i V according to cpu-z and rm

i just got cool n quiet to work...but i think im going to get rid of it and give this a chance. cool n quiet says my cpu is at 1000 mhz right now (idle), but neither voltage, heat, or sound (from fans) has been reduced...wtf?
