Wait until iOS 7 is officially released so the bugs have been corrected. They probably will announce the next iPhone by then

I'd wait as well.

And you said $100 for Nexus 4, I'm assuming that's subsidized, which means you are on T-Mobile? I really wouldn't extend my contract for a Nexus 4, especially now. Did you try factory resetting your Note and start fresh? It should help a bit.

Wait.

And what Cronos suggested about doing a fresh start on your Note could help.

Maybe he means to sell his Note and tack on $100 out-of-pocket for a Nexus 4? if so that is a viable option. While a "few months" doesn't sound like a lot, you use your smartphone daily so a $100 for a few months of more enjoyable mobile browsing is worth it IMHO

I'd wait if you want an iPhone. If you need something now, I'd just get a Nexus 4.

No such thing like carrier in my country. I live in India
So every phone is unlocked .
I actually only run stock android ROM in my note as I love it . its so slow now as basically my brother and sister have iPhone 5 and s4 respectively

Hmmm .
Does the note 2 have better battery than iphone 5

I guess the screen on time on noteis around 6 hours and i think iphone gets near 8+

I have an iPad mini too which i absolutely love the most

Just wait. Don't bother buying a Nexus 4 for just 4 months.

The Note 2 has amazing battery life. Other than the Razr Maxx, it's by the far the longest lasting phone I've ever had.

If you are going to sell your Note and get a Nexus 4, then sell your Nexus 4 to get a iPhone 5S (or whatever)... Why not just buy the iPhone 5 now, and sell that when the new iPhone comes out? iPhones have pretty good resale value.

That's untrue for screen on time. iPhone gets around 8~ total uptime for average use, not screen on time.

For my Note 2, I generally get around 20-30 hours of use without having to recharge.

Either way, if you're thinking about jumping on to the Apple bandwagon, wait for iPhone 5S to come out.

I liked the note 2 before htc one raised the bar of build
I dont want cheap looking phone
I mean i dont like the build material on note and the back is just tooo bad and looks too cheap imo
But fantastic device to say the least though

I personally just got an iphone 5 from the S3 due to reception issues on Verizon. The IP5 is better in that category. Additionally, I'm an iOS dev, so I'm running iOS7 right now. If you are dying for a new phone, do it and don't look back. If you really want the latest and greatest, wait.

Additionally, expect that jailbreaking the iphone has died as of 6.1.3; for the security lockout feature of iOS7 to actually work, there can be no way for a jailbreak to exist - it HAS to be patched.

As a person who has had an iPhone 5 and a GN2...for battery life GN2 >>> IP5. That is even with Google Now, Weather Bug fast interval updates, live wallpapers, and multiple widgets on every page.

I have heard the Nexus 4 has worse battery life than the I5. That alone would make me not want one. After getting used to a 5.5" screen and a beast battery I don't know how I could go to a different phone until the next Note comes out. :D

Actually i used nexus 4 for some days like one week and here is my experience
1. Super fast and elegant looking phone
2. Bad battery and limited memory of 8 gig , both on my original note were non issue coz i carry spare charger and battery
3. I was so used to full blacks and saturated colors that i didnt like the washed out colors on n4 even after alot of calliberation mentioned on other dev forums
. But somehow i like the display of iphone and ipad alotsdespite they being lcd
4. My unit had manufacturing defect and i returned it to buy it later

But then changed my mind

You sure about that? The Nexus 4 has a non user replaceable battery. Do you mean you carried a battery pack?
