ive been sat for last couple of days with the upgrade itch but not being able to decide ona damn thing
i was just looking out the window at my car then it struck me.........the car radio ****** bloody well sucks the biggest monkey bollocks you will ever see.
so....i have decided to spend money upgrading the radio and the door speakers.
its a ford ka, so i need to buy a fascia adapter, and ill probably need some relatively thin component speakers in the doors. not really after a sub, i just want a nice sounding set up.
so id say about £100 to spend on the head unit, £100 on the speakers and the fascia is pegged at £20 so i cant adjust that.
want a good, but reasonably priced headunit....from a decent make, VDO, sony, Panasonic
same for the speakers. and remember a sony clock radio would probably be an upgrade to whats in there now
not too sure on the speaker sizes but id guess that 13cm is probably all the doors will take.
