Hi guys,
I have a setup that looks like this:
PC => Essence STX (stereo RCA) => 2x RCA to 3.5mm adapter => Audioengine A5.
The setup works flawlessly, except sometimes after the speakers go to "sleep" for a long period of time (overnight, for example), when I start to play sounds on them again, the right speaker won't work. Oddly enough, all I have to do to get it working again is gently touch or twist the RCA connections going into the sound card.
The cable isn't loose by any means, and I can twist and wiggle it all I want while both speakers are working without any cutting out, static, or other adverse effects. It seems like when only the left speaker is playing, all I have to do is wiggle the cable to jump start the other speaker.
Any idea what would cause this?
