i disabled it with adblock. but it didnt extend the posts. now i just have a giant white space on the page.

This is so hella lame.

Rather than just update their forum from 3.8.8 beta to 6.0 final, they used something else entirely and fudged it all up.

If there are adverts there I can't see them so zero fucks given.
The site won't load with ublock on android. I still block ads via hosts file, but I'd like to do some cosmetic blocking. I'll have to check out the page source when I'm on a desktop, and see if I can figure out what's happening.

Agreed. It's fine on the main Forums page, but turn it off with each sub-forum.

It's fine, just don't use a 300x600 block. Go to 180x600 or whatever. Then shrink the avatar/poster info on the left.

Firefox is the only browser I have that will force desktop site, but runs like crap and gave me a 403 error when I tried to post. :(

The quick links was missing in the last migration as well. It was a good feature of the forums that's been there for 17 years. Gives it to uses

Found my sidebar based on other's description. It's below the forum posts. Kind of strange cause I'm using my phone in landscape(as always), and I'd think the resolution was big enough to put the sidebar on the side.

I agree it's useless, and would like an editable sidebar with subforums on it. I "edited" the old one using ublock to get rid of the subforums I don't visit. That left a space, which made it more finger friendly.

I'd rather have the ginormous right side bar than the old top bar that resized itself twice on page changes.

I click on the wrong subforum many many times when the list shifted up or down just as I was clicking.
