thats not very much lets say 5 people on this forum have 30 gig of mp3s. thats only 150 gigs. COME ON put it in perspective.

That's a very small number, I used to see it in the terrabytes (1,000 gigabytes).

That is not a lot. I've seen it at almost 1.5 terabytes during it's prime.

Yeah, used to be terabytes. Besides, you can't find anything good unless you hunt and peck for thing like "Madogna" or "Elton Joe".

Napster is dead,long live ....... I wonder, if they charged 5 bucks a month (if the courts and the artists agreed of course) would they rise from the grave? Hmmmmmmmm???

I was trying to say that thats way less than what I used to see before. LIke you said, there used to be tera bytes of mp3's on napster.

i remember when i used to reconnect several times if it was a server that had less than 2 terras.

200gigs is pretty pathetic considering a lot of thos are repeats, several people, etc.

the 200 terras on limewire/bearshare are media files aren't they? not necessarily MP3s, pics/movies/etc play a _large_ role.

that is nothing, I saw a piece on Napster yesterday on CNN about them making new users d/l their software which can take a imprint of the user(s) hdd(s) (which can be used later for blocking files and such)
