Right Fan?

I have a PC I built myself. It's the 2nd PC I've built myself, and the new one's simply one I put together from the previous one in which the motherboard or processor - never knew which - broke. I'm not a monster user, and this PC gets used for light gaming duty, MP3 use and DVD use. It's not highly stressed I would say, but it is on most of the time.

When I bought the new mobo and processor, I wasn't quite sure which fan I should buy so I bought every fan I thought might be applicable. This is the Cooler Master Socket A (1.733Ghz), Socket A (1.33Ghz), and SoA (1.2Ghz). I tried it with the 1.33Ghz and 1.2Ghz fans - I'm worried about breaking the mobo if I unfit/fit another fan as it seems to take an unfeasible amount of shoving with a screwdriver to get it to fit and remove - and there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference in the processor temps.

I have noticed that the higher rated fan has a slightly wobbly line on the Asus Probe graph, while the 1.2Ghz fan seems to stay at a more or less constant speed. The 1.33Ghz sink barely clears the various blobs around the socket. However no bits are actually in contact with the heatsink.

My question is, given that the processor is a Duron 950, which fan should I be using? And is the fact that the heatsink is about 1 to 2mm away from some big capacitors a problem? And forgive me for being thick, but is there an easier way to get the fans on/off?

Use the best one you've got, presumable the 1.733Ghz one. It's not a problem that it's close to the mobo components, and there's no easier way to get it on.
