Right click on desktop in win 10?

What happened to the right click on the desktop in windows 10? I tried it and it started doing weird things. Almost hung up? What's going on?

Like what kind of weird things? I am not a mind reader.

On my system it works as a normal right click. Remember it's a pre beta version, and all sorts of things can be expected to happen.

Well I tried to right click on my desktop, it acted like it was trying to changing my window. desktop disappeared for a moment. then acted like it was in a loop for about 25 seconds, then came back to my desktop. No balloon open to chose what i wanted to do? It also wont let me right click in a open windows explorer window copy and past. Just does the same thing as if I was on the desk top.

I suggest you refresh, reset or restore through pc settings. If you still have problems reinstall. There is definetely something wrong. There is also a new build available, you may want to install that.

Thanks. The new build is what started the troubles. All was well till then.

If you reset, your machine will go back to 9841 and not reinstall 9860 (but if a new build comes out, you will auto-upgrade to the new build) - resetting blacklists the build you reset from.

That said, right clicking should be working. Mouse? Touch screen?

I am using a mouse. And I think the last update was a new build. (KB3010668) So I guess I am sol? I tried using the mouse setting to correct it, but no effect?

KB3010668 was just a fix to 9860. Check the event log for errors.
