My case can barely fit a 10.5" 260 (to the point that I can't fit a piece of paper between the 260GTX and harddrive rack). The ATI 5850 is 9.5" long but has the power connectors at the end which would mean I have power wires pressed against my hdd rack which sounds like a bad idea. Has anybody found any right angle adapters for the 6pin or 8pin PCIE connectors?

How many hard drives do you have? My answer is to buy some 5.25 brackets and put the harddrives in your 5.25 bays and take the hard drive rack out completely, if your case allows it that is.

I have 2 harddrives in there but all 3 5.25 bays are filled so I can't do that.

Right angle with extension cable, thanks. I wonder what the depth measurement is on that.

i don't think you have to worry about it if i understand what you're asking. the plastic part goes into the female plug itself on the board, so there shouldn't be much extra hanging out of the board that can't be easily bent at 90deg

Im thinking the same thing. I guess I can make the jump to a 5850 once the prices drop down. IM not currently in any rush so waiting isn't an issue.
