Rift, SLI and profile (help)

My friends and enemies, help me out.

I play rift, but rift doesn't take advantage of SLI. I found threads about it but they are all being left open. Here is the problem:
setup: 2x460 with 275.33, SB 2600k, 8Gb RAM, 64 bit vista.

symptoms: No change in Nvidia's game profile has effects on the game. FPS from SLI is exactly same as if I disable SLI. When SLI is up, the load is 80+ on both cards. When SLI is off, the load is 80+ on one card.

Since the cards are being worked up, they generate lots of noise, and the only way for me to a single card is to actually disable SLI before playing the game as changes in profile doesn't work. The profile was manually created from Nvidia Control Penal which I have the rift.exe selected. I use this method for all games and the only one that doesn't work is Rift.

Is there anyone other than me who plays rift with SLI?
