Post some of your best/toughest/funniest riddles. I'll start with a mild one:

What can go up a chimney down, but cannot go down a chimney up?

Here I've used 6 "toothpicks" to make 1 equilateral triangle.

Use the same 6 toothpicks to make 4 equilateral triangles.

edit: wtf, i hate fusetalk's inability to just display the fucking text I type in the window.

The answer, which took me a half second to work out on a piece of paper, is an equilateral triangle inside of an equilateral triangle. Also ,technically it creates 5 equilateral triangles

Well I was using alt+255 to get the spaces that display properly, but apparently I can't get the backslash in the first row to show up... I type it in, it shows it in the preview, and then it disappears when I edit.

I still laugh at parts of that crapfest just because of it having him in it.

I still can't figure out what a chimney down and a chimney up are.

I'm also thinking I might be reading that sentence wrong but I just can't seem to make out what the OP's riddle is asking.

what does giyf mean?

I know the answer is posted, I still don't understand the sentence though.

If I'm reading it correctly, it's saying an umbrella turned upside down can go a chimney, but if it's held upright, it can't go down a chimney?
