I guess most people can't tell teh difference between 20, 30, 40 and 200, 300, 400.

aha I get it. Most people mistakenly carry the "1" left over from the 40, 30, 20 and 10 to the first digit, where it should actually carry over to the second digit. Man, had me completely befuddled for a minute...!

I got 4100 the first time and when you asked "Did you get 5000?" I thought I did it wrong at first. That trick where you count the "f"s in the sentence with all the "of"s in it doesn't work on me either.
