Riddle assist plz... ::ANSWERED::

I was driving into work and heard the following riddle. I had to get out of my car before they got the right answer but I have to find out I can't find it anywhere online so I am assuming it might just be a joke but I want to see if any of you have the answer....

What has 3 legs, 6 eyes (or i's), 4 arms and 8 fingers on each hand?

a liar or Lyre. They didn't specify on the air.

There's nothing to get. It's a liar. If somebody said they had six eyes and four arms, then they are a liar.

that's a horrible joke. i was trying to figure out how a lyre would fit, that would at least have been a passable riddle.

yeah, most riddles leave you with some sort of sense of enlightenment when you figure out or find out the answer. With this one, you just feel like "is that all?"
