^ good point. i'm not big on the name brand dvd world but i think its aleast a fair deal. i get my stuff from fry's the cheap-o stuff at 25dvd's for 7.25 or so. it all totals up to be the same. but name brand vs no-name. i guess.

I have both the Ridata 4x and 8x from NewEgg.
The 4x is richojpn and the 8x is ritek.
I can burn the 4x at 12x with my NEC3500 (fw 2.18 Liggy's beta).
On the other hand, the max I can burn the 8x ritek is 8x.

No coasters for both medias.
