I know, right? I mean he had those couple huge songs, then it's like he just disappeared.

Man, talk about a guy throwing away everything after having been handed life on a silver platter. Coming out of college, he had everything lined up. Instead of doing things the smart way, he hires a clown for an agent, gets screwed, does dope, gets booted, comes back, gets booted again etc etc etc.

Sheesh.

I think the Dolphins would want to hang on to him at least for this year though, since Ronnie Brown is out for the year. Then trade him in the off-season, assuming he doesn't get suspended again for smoking dope.

I guess the Dolphins will be able to stomach 0-16 better with everybody high.

Did you not see the stuff he pulled coming out of college? Giving interviews while wearing his visored helmet, etc. I think it is safe to say, "He ain't right in the head."

He has some sort of social anxiety disorder, which is why he shied away from the media... MJ was supposed to help alleviate that disorder!

Yea, he's really afraid of public interviews/speaking/etc...that's why he's so awkward. I mean the marijuana didn't seem to slow him down any on the field they shoulda just let him smoke it - not like it was enhancing his performance :p.

Yeah, he always had the social anxiety disorder, but that could have been treated with professional care. Either way, he had it all for the taking, yet time after time made the wrong choices. Very similar to Maurice Clarrett from Ohio State -- the guy had it all and threw it all away to the point of now being in jail.

Man, most of us can point to missed opportunities in our lives, but I doubt many of us had opportunities THAT big, only to throw them away and end up in jail.

This is 2 years old, but gives you some insight into the type of person/father Williams was off the field.

http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=102095

So, with little or no fanfare, he donated the bulk of the $1 million it took to install an artificial football surface and top-of-the-line running track at his old high school, Patrick Henry High, in San Diego.

Dolphins have nothing to lose by tossing him on the field.
