Yup, there was a bunch of rumors, and news stories about it which as normal the Administration said was fake news, but turns out to be true.

Rick Perry, the evangelical Christian who is now embroiled in a scandal that speaks to most everything Perry is supposed to be against as an Evangelical.

Hypocrisy hath no bounds where politics and religion cross paths.

Kelly had Mulvaney's job first, except for one thing, Mulvaney is only "acting" COS.

Beginning to think there's a lot bigger deal going on here. Perry's may have nothing to do with the arms for political dirt deal. There something going on with the natural gas deal, I just know it. Man, I love the word deal this morning.

I think Perry was trying to advance LNG exports to Ukraine, a seemingly legit thing to do as Energy Secretary. He knew the rest of the game was going on but there's no evidence of his active involvement. Trump threw him under the bus as a distraction. If Perry did indeed urge Trump to make the call he can say it was for that purpose, even though Trump didn't discuss LNG at all.

I'm no fan of Rick Perry but he didn't lay waste to the energy dept as has been done with others.

Mulvaney is on paper the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and also acting CoS.

If you want to restrict your definition of Cabinet to Secretaries it's down to Mnuchin (Treasury), Perdue (Agriculture), Ross (Commerce), Carson (Housing and Development), Chao (Transportation), and DeVos (Education.)
