Here is an idea how they can change their fortunes. Since very successful Republican bumper stickers of old used to say, "We despise you. Vote Republican!" Make the NEW bumper stickers say, "Te despreciamos. Voto por Republicano!" and "Us dudes despise yo thugged-out ass. Vote Republican!"

Sure fire way to win with minority voters increasing.

These Texans are a queer lot. I'm curious just exactly who were the people that settled the great state of Texas way back centuries ago. They have their principles and something about them smacks of cheap bravado and fraudulence. From what I understand the last time Texas dropped this Perry turd on the country he really is a governor in name only. The real governor is the lieutenant governor by law in Texas. This leave these special peacocks to parade around the state. The joke is that these bimbos like Bush and Perry believe themselves creatures of merit. Then the big lights come on and they choke on their crackers.

I always said the main problem with his campaign was the cowboy boots.

His main problem, like other texan's in politics, is the empty 10 gallon cowboy hat.

Perhaps instead of sending FEMA to a natural disaster, he will just organize a huge "prayer meeting" like he did to end the drought and fires in Texas.

Or one could say there is a god, and Perry really pissed him off, cause after the little prayer (wishing) thing, Texas really began to burn.

I don't get it. What's the difference between this dude and any other republican?

Couldn't be more stereotypically Republican. The prep boy pic and the frat boy pic.

Maybe the first one some kind of clown ROTC uniform. Got to get that military background ticket punched.

IIRC he was an active duty C-130 pilot in the Air Force for the minimum time required to repay his ROTC scholarship and left as a captain. You can't exactly be a dummy and a pilot. Same for W.

There are different kinds of intelligence. I know neurosurgeons that I wouldn't trust to serve on a condo board.

I can see how Perry could be appealing to the electorate in Texas given his affability, style, and rhetoric. He doesn't even seem unlikeable to me (someone who really doesn't agree with his positions on anything). There is, shall I say, a perceptible lack of nuance present when he articulates his positions that gives him a boobish appearance to large parts of the country.

Oh yeah, he came across as a total idiot during the last primary. I don't think he can possibly recover. "Oops."

He's got the full support of the gun lobby though, having brought numerous firearms companies from embattled states down to Texas, and regularly going to photoshoots at various gun manufacturers around the state. Plus he shot that coyote while he was jogging...

You mean like a dog and not the kind that smuggles people across the boarder right? Cause if it was the later he would win the nomination nor matter what other stupid shit came out his mouth. ;)

Who wants a plebian president? Presidents should come from the ruling class.

If we can extend that to include clueless boobs from Illinois with zero real world experience and zero government accomplishments, I'm on board.

That doesn't seem to be an impending threat. We'll give you our Governor as VP though...please....take him.
