this.

But to the OP I'm sure thinkprogress is a shining beacon of truth compared to Fox News. Isn't that right OP?

So you think Rick Perry doesn't believe Medicare is unconstitutional and didn't write that in his book? Thinkprogress is making it up? Yes, of course they must be because it's so far fetched for a rightwinger to believe Medicare is unconstitutional.:eek::eek::eek:

How dare they slander him!??! What next, they'll say he's pro-gun?!?! Damn devious lefties!!

I can't agree with your number 1 proposition. If a POTUS or any member of Congress believes that something is unconstitutional, they should be working to disband it regardless of what the courts say

No, they shouldn't. If the courts have ruled that something IS constitutional, then you abide by that and work within the process to do what the people want you to do. That's exactly what Perry has said, that he listens to whatever the people want to do.

Saying "I'll do whatever the American people want to do" is a copout when the issue is the Constitutionality of basically most of what the federal government does.

See my prior point. It's not a copout, it's exactly what he should be doing. He should do what the people want him to do.

he is a major presidential candidate and he needs to have a stance and quit waffling.

No, he isn't waffling, that's just what the leftist media is saying. He's doing exactly what he should be doing.

Rick Perry is a sleeper terrorist secret muslim born in Burma who fathered 5 illegitimate brown babies with 3 different women and has held underground blood sacrifice rituals for his God Baal. (before converting to secret Islam, of course).

Thinkprogress linking to Thinkprogress for interpretations of his book, claiming he's disavowing it, yet quoting him telling people to get it and read it? lol Thinkprogress, I don't think I've seen a story from there yet that isn't full of holes in logic and/or truth.

It's a Homer thread, so trivial little things like facts and credibility are irrelevant.

Perry: "Hey, buy my book so I can make $$$$ but don't believe everything you read in it because some of it is old stuff, like a year old? And some of it was only meant for my fellow God folks to read and unnerstand? And you know, some of that other stuff in there, well, I kind'a changed my mind about? But I may change my mind back again after the primaries or just before the primaries, but heck, you know what I mean. What I mean is fool me once, shame on (uhh whu' wuzzat?...oh yeah) shame on YOU, fool me **???** you can't get fooled again....heh, I jus' made a funny on Georgie didn't I?"

Got'ta love that guy. It's gon'na be a whole lot of fun watching his handlers bite their nails and squint and squirm and grimace every time Perry drifts off and goes native.

I demand that he and Joe Biden have an off-the-cuff free-for-all sometime in the near future.

Still waiting on you to comment now we have posted from your approved "right wing" sources.

Or is this another example of classic right-wing "ignore the facts" and hope it goes away? But all you can do is troll. Typical.

You want my comment? I think Rick Perry is a fucking retard.

What brilliant and typically insightful posting. If that website said 2+2=4, I guess you would deny it?

Anyway, is Slate far-right enough for you to believe?

Or CBS:

OR WP?

Funny how you cannot comment on the facts, only the messenger.

Now that you have "right wing approved" websites saying the same thing, would like to comment on his total flip-flop?

I'm sure this is enough other sources to convince all the ostriches focusing on TP, probably not. :)

I never read that he was "waffling" in any media. I concluded it based on clips of answers I saw on youtube. Yeah, he's waffling. If it was Obama behaving similarly, you'd have no trouble seeing it as such. Saying we'll leave it up the people is crap. He could say that on every single issue and then he stands for nothing and proposes nothing. He may as well just say, if you want to know what I stand for, check the latest gallup poll. Dodging questions - a longstanding and well recognized characteristic of politicians - is OK when it comes from your guy, eh? Bull.

My life is complete we actually agree on something!

We probably have a lot in common. I think the Republican Party is pretty stupid. I agree with some of its members, but by and large their whole religiousness and stance on social issues is just fail.

However, where you and I differ is I think the Democratic party is also retarded. Whereas you love them.

I have to admit I wouldn't vote for anyone with an R after their name unless they were a moderate/reasonable grounded in reality Republican and that I am afraid will never occur again in my lifetime.

It would not surprise me one bit to see him elected...not one bit at all. As bad as he sucks, Obama sucks just as bad in so many ways.

With Dubyuh in mind, I can't disagree with you. But Obama ain't no Gore or Kerry either so......
