Irony in a party platform? Say it ain't so?

this is the reason I gave up on the republican party. They don't stand for anything anymore. All they stand for is opposing anything the libtards promote. No thinking, no reason, no logic.

Its like everyone who gets elected gets a lobotomy.

Where are you seeing these $130 32" TV sets? And $20 TrachPhone will net you 60 texts. Most people will burn that up in a couple days.

He's not that far off. Feel free to browse TV deals at slickdeals $130 might be kind of a stretch, but it's easy to score decent tv for $300 however. As far as phone goes, a 29.95 plan from page plus will get you 1200 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB of 3G data. That's peanuts compared to the monthly cost of health insurance for a family.

Perry may be well behind the reality curve, but I want to thank him for moving in the right direction.

It's not like anybody expected Texas to take a leadership role in cannabis legalization. It does show us a paradigm shift in progress when even conservative states seek alternatives to the old & busted paradigm.

IMHO a consensus has been growing among both public and politicians that criminalizing MJ is overkill
Don't overestimate the intelligence of Americans. This has absolutely nothing to do with morals and everything to do with monies. Governments start legalizing things when they can no longer afford to be cunts. Think of the roaring 1920's. The country was doing great, money everywhere, massive police state and alcohol prohibition. The Great Depression hits. We're out of money! I guess we need to stop being so cunty. Alcohol prohibition ends in 1933.

Politicians and voters would gladly support putting half the population in jail if there was enough money for it. People are cunts.

By the way, my reaction to this news:
ChHNZ.gif

Pretty much my reaction as well. :D

take note right wing morons:

You are supposed to be against government control of what someone does. Now that mj is being legalized, all these right wing nuts jobs are suddenly worried what someone does in their own house.

STFU and get out of people's lives.

*disclaimer* I don't smoke weed. Have no intention of starting up. But why should I care what someone else does? Hint: I don't. Go smoke weed and molest table lamps. IDGAF

This.

I hear ya, but the Dems are no better.

And this.

As for this being a lead up to another presidential run, I suppose I hadn't thought of that. I guess I figured that after the embarrassment of his last bid, nobody would take him seriously if he made another go at it.
