And Rick Perry chose them b/c there are so many of them and they have an excellent networking and communications system, which helps him get elected.

"The “prophets” of the NAR claim to be continuously receiving direct revelation from God ... NAR's stated goal is to eradicate denominations and to form a single unified church that will fight and be victorious against "evil" in the end times.

"Instead of escaping to heaven in the Rapture prior to the battles of the end times, the apostles teach that believers will remain on earth...and their followers will fight and purge the earth of evil themselves.

"This includes taking “dominion” over all sectors of society and government, which, in turn, will lead to a "Kingdom" on earth, a Christian utopia ruled from Jerusalem."

And Rev Wright did nothing wrong, so what's your point?

I don't see a whole lot of difference between what Wright was preaching and the very principles of that church as being much different than this.

naw, naw, naw, REJECT WHITE middle class America!

No matter how much the left is attacking Perry's religious beliefs, that is all trumped with the Obama/Wright card. It cancels out any point you could possibly make.

This is no different then the Michelle Obama "whitey" thing. More crazy right wing talking points. Unless you can link to a speech for context, it's meaningless

Obama expressly repudiated Rev. Wright's extremist views. If or when Perry does the same with these crazies, then your point will be valid.

ONLY after he discovered it was bad for him politically and he had a shock that white people were severely offended by Obamas/Wrights beliefs.

You mean like John McCain did with John Hagee? However Rick Perry doubled down on their relationship.

1 black man (Wright) is far worse than an organization whos goal is to dominate and control society and government.

Wow - you guys seem to get better and better at this racism thing!! Each day you create a contradictory uneven and unbalanced view on life where a black man is made to look worse,.. no matter what.

I'm still wondering how Perry can serve two masters and be faithful to both. How can he split himself in two and be a faithful fundie Christian and yet be owned by big business interests that direct him to do their bidding even if it conflicts with his fundie religious beliefs?

I really would like an explanation from him on this before I decide what he truly is as an individual.
