ricky gets elected, you can probably look for all kinds of mandated purchases - health insurance, cable tv, cell phones, toyota cars and trucks, ford, chevy,,,,,,.

If the government can make you buy insurance, they can make you buy anything.

The government will probably stamp a bar code on your forehead at birth to stop identity fraud.

It's funny--Texans I've met in RL, many of them here on the forums, on either side of the political/social belief system--not one of them likes Rick Perry.

why is he the great white hope of the hate-mongering teabaggers, when even his own elected state can't stand the fuck? It's like Giuliani and New york--one of the most hated politicians in that city's history--especially amongst firefighters and NYPD, lol--yet he is proclaimed as some national hero, and lionized by the right?

mind-blowing, how easily a populace can be duped by the smoke and mirrors of political will.

I would be far more comfortable in the presence of a majority of muslims than I would be with a handful of Rick Perry clones.

Well there are a lot of majority-Muslim countries in this world so it's pretty easy for you to be comfortable if that's what it takes.

You could be right. (I am a liar.) The wife thinks I'm stupid and bullheaded for not wanting to go see the doc.

I'm not a doc or have any medical experiance but the night before last (0300) I was found out in the front yard armed with a hand gun. I have no idea how I got there. Then after being put back to bed in the morning I had trouble moving my right arm and could not see much out of my right eye. It was also difficult to form words.

I just assume that was a minni stroke. It could just be old age and the heat. (I don't drink or do drugs.)

Such is life.

All in all, I don't care.

Yes, this is largely why I have referred more to what it says about him being a 'con man and a whore' doing anything for votes, what that says about him. You're right on.

He could cause the creation of a phrase I'm not sure has ever been spoken before, "worse than Bush".

Nothing to worry about here, these "characters" bring people who normally don't care about voting out of the woodwork just to make sure this shit don't become a reality. Palin and Bachmann will get the same results. Just because Fox and friends follows em all day doesn't mean rational people go for this crap.

I'm equally tolerant of Muslims and Christians. Extremists from either religion don't deserve tolerance
