According to several witnesses, Christie's wife also joined the fracas, the Los Angeles Times reported.

"I guess she thought he needed some help," Fox told the newspaper.

NFL=Nationla Felons League
NBA=National Buttholes Association.

These guys are boys who are getting paid to extend their teenage years. I will not spend my money to support any of them until they grow up and realize that kids are influenced by them. Stupid immature arseholes.

*blush* I thought you were talking about the President of Mexico...but his name is Vincente. *blush* I was like "wow, what'd he do now?"
Shows you what a big "sports guy" I am. :eek:

Fox is a third rate hack baller whose living off the glory of Shaq and Kobe. If he was with any other team he'd be relegated to bench warmer and 4th qtr intimidator, if he even makes the squad! I'd like to see him mix it up with someone like Charles Oakley. Oakley would chew him up and spit him out unlike the gangly undernourished Doug Christie.

Actually, he was once team captain for the Boston Celtics.

He said "My emotions got hijacked..." instead of "I lost control of myself and made a huge mistake." It's like he doesn't realize he is responsible for his own actions and wants to shift the blame somewhere else, only there is nowhere to put it. That is one of the many problems you see when we glorify someone into near gods, and pay them beyond the worth of what they give. Unfortunately, professional sports in America promotes some of the most spoiled, whiny, uncontrollable men on the face of the earth.

Weird. I think you're reading too deep into it. He does realize he's responsible that's why he says he's accepting his suspension. IMO, "my emotions got hijacked" and "i lost control of myself" mean the same thing. When you're hijacked, you have no control.

i thought Shaq is, it was funny to see how that big fat bouncer/body guard guy stood up to Shaq during that fight...

I did not comment on it in the beginning just to be neutral.

avgs 9.9 pts per game

kinda hard to score when one player averages 27.2 ppg and the other 25.2 ppg

I'd pay to see him mix it up with the mid 90's Knicks' Oak and Mase... heheheh

This proves Rick Fox is delusional. He gets almost knocked cold by an uppercut then sneak attacks Christie and still gets thrown and punched a couple more times and he thinks Doug needed help? Haha.

I caught Rick Fox while fishing at Lake Berryessa a couple weekends ago. It may have just been a catfish, but, either way, I wasn't going to ask for an autograph.

John Starks averaged 19 pts/game for the Knicks in 93/94... your point?

most of the guys who sit and complain about nba players who can't play are the ones who sit at home all day playing counterstrike and what they know about basketball is through playing NBA Live.

Fox is a great player. His offense isn't as strong as the top players (obviously) but he steps up when the lakers need a boost (yeah who can say that about anyone on the kings except for bibby). his defense is also very good.

as for players getting overpaid, big deal. it's all in the demands. stop whining. if you want big bucks, go work out and play some sports instead of sitting on the forums all day.

HAHA! christies "punch," if you could call it that, was about as effective in hurting fox as webers 20ft time winding down CLANK off the rim jump shot is at hurting the lakers. furthermore fox got christie in a headlock and pummled christie. not only does christie get his ass kicked by fox, but kobe scores 35 on him every game. christie is just plain pathetic

as for not wanting fox's autograph, who cares? fox goes home and bangs vanessa williams while you go home and cry that sac gets their asses handed to them every year
