TLC had a one hour thing on him last night. I am not sure if his growth has been stunted much by weights...I suspect a lot of the supposed stunting is myth, but I am not sure in regards to him.
Supposedly at 8 years old (he's now 12) he could bench 210, though I am not sure how...he's well built for a kid, but still he has very little muscle in reality, though I guess his leverages are good for such a short person. I see vague references on google about him in Guiness, but their site has no mention of him.
One of the doctors on the show said he thought richard must be on roids, because you need testosterone to grow muscle, and normally that does not kick in until at least 10. I think that's dubious, given that five year olds have muscle
In reality nobody has ever done this with a kid, so I am not so sure he couldn't have done it all legitimately. When he's not flexing he doesn't actually look all that big.
