Its some what my sad duty to announce the death of Richard C Holbrooke, a career American diplomat who died with his boots on.

Maybe cause of death, a sudden tear in his aurota, maybe partly due to a stressful life. Which sadly, despite a series of best effort medical operations proved fatal.
Maybe the crowning Jewel in Holbrooke diplomacy may be in Bosnia, where he should have maybe won a Nobel peace prize, some of critics including myself may think he was not tough enough on Afghan corruption, but still I hope everyone on this forum will join me in saying RIP to Richard C. Holbrooke. An American diplomat who will be sadly missed.
